AMBA session: Innovation for success in business education
Educational Institutions –like businesses –have had to adapt to comply with restrictions to be able to maintain a quality service. Although this has been challenging, the pandemic created opportunities for digital innovations.
From start-ups to multi-nationals, companies are working to improve the world of online learning, developing education technology at a rapid pace. This gives Business Schools an opportunity to reflect on how these innovations will affect the day-to-day delivery of teaching going into the future, and be flexible and adapt to the post Covid-19 world, taking the valuable skills and lessons learned and developing them further.
In Association of MBA’s first session of the Business School Leaders Summit 2022, “Innovation for success in business education“, the panel ponders the future of Business Schools in this digital landscape; and asks how Business Schools should position themselves in a changing environment.
Chaired by Simone Hammer, Head of Marketing, Learning Experiences at Barco, and joined by panel speakers Maria Luciana Axente, Responsible AI & AI for Good Lead at PwC, Tiffany Monaco, Global Business Development and Innovation Leader at IKEA Group, and our very own Miika Mäkitalo, CEO at HappyOrNot, they discuss trends, issues, challenges, and opportunities such as:
- Has this past year has inspired radical innovation and collaboration?
- What have been the biggest learnings over the past year?
- Are businesses (as a whole) set up to survive a growing deluge of challenges –especially when it’s impossible to predict what’s around the corner?
- Is there value in failure and how can we mitigate that risk?
